Anitta is being sued for reproducing group choreographies on social media Splash

Anitta, 30, is being sued by Poliana da Silva Ribeiro for abuse of image, moral and material damage. The young woman is demanding R150,000 in compensation after claiming that the singer posted on social media a choreography by her and five friends from 2012 to promote her album “Version of me” in 2022 . The information was originally given by O. Globo and determined by Squirt.

According to the trial, which is taking place at the 7th Civil Court of Barra da Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro, Poliana, then a teenager, danced in the group “Cia Fissura” and created the choreography Wislania, known as Lannah.

The young woman states that the singer’s goal was “to promote her by using the music video commercially as an advertising tool.” She also says that she “received no payment for the use and distribution of her image” and that the video had more than six million views by the time it was removed from Anitta’s page.
