Rocco Ritchie posed with his new mystery girlfriend as he celebrated the launch of his latest art exhibition at Frieze in London on Thursday evening.

It was a family affair as Madonna, who will kick off her 78-date Celebration Tour at the O2 on Saturday evening, turned up to show her support for her 23-year-old son, who has made a name for himself in the art world.

Rocco quietly established himself as an expressionist painter under the name Rhed and his artworks have sold for more than £20,000.

Rocco, whose father is director Guy Ritchie, packed on the PDA with the stunning brunette, who looked effortlessly stylish in a black bodycon dress.

The loved-up couple were joined by Rocco’s sister Lourdes Leon, 26, and brother David Bandas, 18, as well as Stella McCartney.

As they enjoyed the family meal, Rocco’s charcoal drawings were framed on the wall above them.

For his latest exhibition, Rocco was inspired by his mother and drew a photo of her from the 1980s.

She shared a series of shots of his collection on Instagram before the family celebrated with dinner.

Madonna wrote: ‘Congratulations Rocco.’ Your show was remarkable!’

Rocco and his new lover left the exhibition holding hands.

The exhibition is a poignant moment for Rocco as his work will be shown at Frieze London in the next few weeks.

Frieze London is one of the most influential contemporary art fairs, focusing exclusively on contemporary art and living artists, held in Regent’s Park every October.

Rocco has had three exhibitions at Chelsea art gallery Tanya Baxter Contemporary since 2018.

Ritchie, who is turning heads with his flair for retro fashion, started his career at the age of 17, studied at Central Saint Martins and the Royal Drawing School and his work now sells for five-figure sums.

Rocco’s secret life as an acclaimed artist was revealed by Page Six last year.

His bio on the website of London gallery Tanya Baxter Contemporary says: “Rhed is a young emerging artist whose cultural background is diverse and unconventional.”

“He spent his childhood between New York and London, which gave him a varied and diverse artistic background.”

“Social conflicts such as the obsession with social media, the fixation on celebrities and labels, and generational issues such as drug abuse and depression are topics that he deals with in an encrypted way.”

“It’s almost as if the artist is using the paintings to act as a spokesperson for the Millennial generation who have overdosed on a toxic society.”
