Roxane Bruneau releases the heartbreaking song “J’te retiens pas”.

The 32-year-old singer-songwriter leans toward gentleness with the song “J’te retiens pas,” taken from her third album, “Submerged,” out November 17th and which she will premiere on November 21st at MTELUS.

In this emotional guitar song, Roxane Bruneau chronicles the struggles one feels when faced with a romantic relationship that isn’t working out. How can you turn your back on someone you love?

Roxane Bruneau shared a short performance of the song on Facebook and mentioned that it was one of her “favorite songs from the next album.”

The era Overwhelmed

It is a more confident Roxane Bruneau who is preparing to release the third album “Submerged”, created together with her eternal accomplice Mathieu Brisset.

“Overwhelm is probably the feeling that has haunted me the most since the release of Acrophobia and its subsequent success. Of course, from work, from shows, from advertising, from pressure, but above all, above all, overwhelmed by the love of the audience. And while the first album was simple and naive, the second intense and unsettling, this third album is more mature and confident. I feel like I’ve finally gotten out of the fear of fear,” the artist reveals in the press release.

Roxane Bruneau plans to perform all of the songs from her new album (in order) during its November 21st release at MTELUS.

His song “Côté Passenger” with Souldia has been viewed more than 450,000 times on YouTube. Upon its release, the song was the #1 music trend in Canada on YouTube.
