Except for children and the terminally ill, every god seems crazy about life. This also includes the huge army of ultra corps that roam the streets connected to a device. They also have a frowning and possessed expression on their faces. Everything is going wrong and there is reasonable certainty that things can get worse. And you try to imagine the terror of the people who suffered or survived in the two world wars, the height of collective terror in human history. It is possible that this horror is unparalleled. Not just in apocalyptic wars. Also with the fearsome and unstoppable revolution or revenge of the climate, although those with air conditioning are less miserable than the outcasts everywhere.
You can also feel the collective fear in supermarkets, where a large part of the customers obsessively pay attention to the prices of food and things. I doubt the political class suffers from these sentiments. Your salary is guaranteed. And now they are dedicated to enforcing progressive or reactionary citizen cards. How comfortable it must be to label your coworkers as the good guys and the bad guys, knowing that God is always on your side.
