“They’re kidnapping me again. “I’m from Chicago,” the defendant shouted before shoving a police officer.

Brown was not handcuffed on the plane and eventually left the plane after 90 minutes of negotiations.

The former soccer player was deported from Mexico on Tuesday and is being held near San Diego in connection with an arrest warrant issued for him in Illinois. He is charged with the first-degree murder of Myrdle Brown. The woman’s body was found lifeless in a stream near her home in a Chicago suburb. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, she died as a result of an assault.

Brown played as a defensive back in the NFL from 2010 to 2016. The one who wore the colors of the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills played a total of 94 games.
