The deadline set by Israel for residents of northern Gaza is expiring; Bomb attacks follow
Unicef said an additional 700 children have been killed and another 2,450 injured in the Gaza Strip since the conflict between Hamas and Israel began last Saturday. This was announced by a spokeswoman for the television channel CNN, citing local sources.
“According to the latest reports from local health authorities and media, at least 2,215 Palestinians have been killed, including more than 700 children, and more than 8,714 people have been injured, including more than 2,450 children,” said Palestinian organization spokeswoman Sara Al Hattab, Saturday (14). on CNN television.
On Friday (13), an attack on the Palestinians’ safe route out of Gaza left 70 people dead, including many children and women.
“The killing of children must stop,” UNICEF spokesman James Elder said in a statement released Friday. “The images and stories are clear: children with terrible burns, mortar shells and missing limbs. And the hospitals are completely overwhelmed to treat them.”
