The military police arrested this Saturday afternoon (14) 29yearold Pablo William da Silva Mostarda. According to the Prime Minister, he is one of the suspects in the shooting of the bassist of the band Ultraje a Rigor, Rinaldo Oliveira Amaral, better known as Porridge, on September 2nd.
Pablo William da Silva Mostarda was found in a residential building on Estrada do Barreiro in Estoril in the early afternoon after military police received an anonymous tip.

A firearm was also seized from him. Police suspect the weapon was used in the attack on Mingau in September this year.
The report has so far failed to contact Pablo’s defense team. The report will be updated as soon as the position becomes available.
Mingau, bassist for Ultraje a Rigor, remains in intensive care for a month after being shot in the head
Police have already arrested four of the five suspects involved in the attempted murder. Only the suspect Hiago remains.

Mingau was injured on September 2 while driving near Praça do Ovo on Ilha das Cobras in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. A friend of the musician told plainclothes police that the two were about to eat something when shots were fired at the car in which they were sitting.
According to the military police who responded to the incident, Mingau’s companion gave a different version of what he heard: that they were going to buy drugs. According to the 167th Police Station (DP), which is investigating the case, the Paraty region, where the musician was shot, is constantly active in drug trafficking and is known as a drug outlet.
After Mingau was shot, he was rescued and taken by ambulance to the Hugo Miranda Municipal Hospital in Paraty.

His birthday was September 3rd, the day after the crime. The bassist has been with Ultraje a Rigor since 1999. However, the band was founded in the 1980s. Over the course of their career, the group scored several hits on the Brazilian music scene, including “Inútil”, “Ciúme” and “Você vai invai in dein Strand”.
On the same day, Mingau was taken by helicopter to São Paulo, where he underwent surgery at São Luiz Hospital. The medical team that operated on him told the press that Mingau had been hit on the left side of his head. The bullet went through the brain and out. The bullet was not jammed.
This Friday (13), a medical bulletin from the São Luiz da Rede D’Or Hospital indicated that Mingau recorded moments of interaction with the family on the fly.
“Patient Rinaldo Amaral remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the São Luiz Hospital Itaim Unit, Rede D’Or. He has daytime eye opening and spontaneous ventilation via tracheostomy. There are some moments of interaction with the family that can be observed in the blink of an eye.”
