Now Pan Américan Pizza (note the reference to the song Lindberg by Robert Charlebois) has set up shop on Rue Jeanne-Mance in Mile-Ex. The 20-seat location promises to introduce a new kind of crispy pizza.

Behind this project are the entrepreneurs Catherine Archambault, Éric Le François, Gilles Mireault, Yves Mireault, Martin Rouleau and Danny St Pierre.

The menu features well-stocked subs, homemade fries, a nice selection of appetizers to whet the appetite and of course Chef Danny St Pierre’s famous Pan Pizza.

Inspired by the pizzas of Chicago and Detroit, the Pan Pizza is completely unique and a departure from traditional Quebec pizzas.

Baked in a pan, pizza features a thick, chewy base, crispy bottom crust, cheesy edges, and delicious toppings.

As for toppings, Danny promises an “all-dressed” pizza as well as several plant-based options, including a textured vegetable protein (TVP) sausage ragu and a vegan cauliflower ricotta.

Pan American Pizza says it has no plans to increase prices on its menu. As the restaurant remains open, we can look forward to hearty dishes at reasonable prices. It’s music to our ears!

Are you as excited as we are to try these famous pizzas?

Official opening: Monday, October 16, 2023 from 11 a.m

6631, rue Jeanne-Mance, Montreal
