On Saturday evening, the diva finally started her much-awaited tour The Celebration Tour at the O2 Arena in London, to the cheers of thousands of enthusiastic fans.

During her performance, Madonna bravely opened up about the dark moments she experienced during her hospital stay early last summer, when she was found unconscious in her New York home. She said with emotion, “I didn’t think I would make it,” revealing her doctors’ concerns about her vital prognosis.

She further revealed: “I have forgotten five days of my life – or death. But the angels protected me. If you want to know my secret to how I survived, I told myself that I had to be there for my children, that I had to get through it for them.
This heartfelt confession was preceded by a touching acoustic rendition of I will Survive from Gloria Gaynor.

Remember that the pop star’s manager last June Guy OsearyShe had confirmed on social media that she had contracted a serious bacterial infection and was in intensive care for several days.
The show marked the start of his major world tour, with many dates postponed due to his hospitalization.
On the memorable evening, the 65-year-old singer treated her fans to performances of many of her biggest hits, including Nothing really matters, Live to tell the tale, Hung up, do not tell me, Open your heart to me, Like a Virgin And Like a prayer.
Madonna will be at the Bell Center in Montreal on January 18th and 20th.
