Hisense’s laser TV competition draws attention to the harmful effects of blue light with its HERO L9H laser TV
LONDON, Oct. 15, 2023 /CNW/ – On October 12, Hisense, the global consumer electronics and home appliances company, launched the Hisense Laser TV competition to win the title at Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS for the largest spectator competition. Nearly 300 people volunteered and joined Hisense to take on the challenge, which aims to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of blue light on eye health.

We are pleased to announce that Hisense has successfully established a new title GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS for the largest television competition with almost 300 participants, making Hisense the current holder of the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!
Four Hisense 120L9H laser TVs were used, which were named Editors’ Choice at the CEDIA2023 exhibition. Hisense’s TriChroma L9 series laser TVs offer a wide range of features that transform your home into an immersive cinematic experience, including high-resolution images from the triple laser setup that delivers an incredible 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness as well as amazing contrast Rich detail with Dolby Vision HDR.
Xu Zuyan from the Chinese Academy of Engineering explains laser TV’s protection for eye health: The Hisense Laser L9 TV is easier to watch than traditional OLED models due to its laser imaging technology. Diffuse reflection. That’s why we decided to demonstrate to the whole world the possibilities of comfortable television in this spectacular setting. The Hisense laser TV enables lower light intensity than a traditional OLED TV and actively avoids harmful blue light while maintaining visual performance, reducing visual fatigue during prolonged viewing.
Compared with a traditional LED TV, the Hisense L9 laser TV is TV certified to provide consumers with a more user-friendly viewing experience due to low exposure to blue light without flickering, providing greater viewing comfort and reducing eye fatigue.
Laser TV is now the preferred choice for a next-generation home theater experience. From January to August, Hisense recorded 54.69% annual growth for its laser TVs in overseas markets and 170.87% annual growth in Europe.
