Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio discuss their collaboration on “Killers of the Flower Moon” in a new interview.

Scorsese, 80, teams up with two of his most frequent collaborators – Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, and Robert De Niro, 80, who have all worked together separately, but “Killers of the Flower Moon” marks the first time they’ve worked together all together film together.

They all spoke to CBS on Sunday morning, where the actors and filmmakers revealed their on-set relationship.

DiCaprio revealed that De Niro and Scorsese “are so incredible together.” Their shorthand, the way they communicate with each other, is almost through sign language.”

He added: “It’s incredible to watch and when Scorsese – who recently criticized Marvel films again – was told what Leo had said and asked what he had with Leo, the director said they had a ‘handwriting’. “

DiCaprio also praised his co-star Lily Gladstone, who has already garnered Oscar buzz for her performance and grew up on the Blackfeet Nation reservation in Montana.
