France: The school of the killed teacher was evacuated due to a bomb scare

The Gambetta middle and high school in Arras, northern France, where French teacher Dominique Bernard was killed Friday morning, was evacuated shortly after 10 a.m. because of a bomb warning.
Bomb protection teams are on site and check for the presence of explosives, but also search the bags and backpacks of the adults and students present. According to BFM TV, the warning was triggered due to a threat that appeared in the chat on the local police station’s website, where citizens have the opportunity to view the procedures to follow and the cases in which they can contact the different police authorities Gendarmerie services.
About a hundred people, including students and staff, were evacuated, local radio France Bleu Nord reports. Everything is going on in a relatively calm situation, while the psychological support cell for students, which started working after Friday’s attack, remains operational in this case.
