Big Brother SPOILER: The new task enrages Hallie and Chanelle as their muddy housemates get drenched and compete to become VIP glampers

They have been living together in the Big Brother house for a week.

And in scenes airing on Monday night, Hallie, 18, and Chanelle, 19, face a new task and fight furiously through the mud and rain.

Divided into two teams, housemates compete in various tasks throughout the day for a chance to become VIP glampers and win a more luxurious camping experience.

When Hallie speaks to Big Brother in the diary room, she is extremely unhappy with the stormy challenge as most of the housemates are preparing to sleep outside as temperatures drop.

She says, “Big brother, I’m not impressed.” “I want food and I want to be a VIP glamper, I want a hot shower and I want a real toilet.”

In one task, the housemates have to try to put up their tent as quickly as possible. But which team will be victorious?

Later, the other team of housemates each receive a waterproof jacket while standing in a circle in the garden.

Soon a huge downpour hits, soaking them all, causing Chanelle to moan, “It’s like being on Barry Island again!”

The VIP glamping task comes after Farida became the first housemate to be evicted from the ITV revival series on Friday. This is the housemates’ reaction to the shocking news that aired on Sunday night.

Farida announced an eviction against NHS manager Kerry, who burst into tears and waited anxiously for the news to be announced.

Some of the contestants immediately comfort Kerry when they learn she is safe, which frustrates some of the other housemates.

Big Brother continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Why did you apply to be a housemate on Big Brother? “I love the program. For me it is the ultimate reality TV show of all time. I suffer from multiple sclerosis and that’s why I’ve never applied because I always saw these huge stairs crashing into the house. It just felt a bit out of reach because I was in a wheelchair for the first three years of my illness. When I saw it come back and was looking for real people from all walks of life, I thought: This is my year.”
