Vogue Williams reveals husband Spencer Matthews stormed out of her podcast TWICE: ‘Sometimes I send him over the edge’

Vogue Williams has revealed that her husband Spencer Matthews stopped recording her podcast Spencer & Vogue twice.

The couple appeared on Loose Women on Monday to talk about their upcoming podcast tour.

They were asked by presenter Ruth Langsford if the pair ever managed to annoy each other while working together.

Vogue, 37, responded that Spencer, 35, has a certain amount of “spice” and that she can sometimes push him to tip over the edge.

She said, “We can respond on the pod.” Spenny has spice levels. You know when you order a Thai takeout or something and there’s one spice, two spices?

“When he’s at Three Spice he’s really not happy that day and sometimes I send him over the edge. “There were two occasions when Spenny walked away.”

Spencer jokingly interrupted, “I always come back!” You realize you’re under contract, so I have to do this!’

He added: “Firstly I love working with my wife, I think it’s great, we’re very close friends and of course we spend a lot of time together.”

“But it’s a little different than the normal co-host relationship because you can leave things at work.” “Ours is following us right in the taxi on the way home.”

Vogue also revealed that she accidentally made a mistake at the baptism of one of her children last year.

Spencer and Vogue have been married since 2018 and have three children together: Theodore, five, Gigi, three, and baby Otto, 17 months.

They baptized Otto in London in November and shared a series of snaps from the happy day.

However, Vogue explained that a simple mistake led to her children adopting a different faith.

She said: “We have three children and Spenny’s mother kindly organized the first two christenings.”

“I am a Catholic, but not a practicing Catholic, and so I organized the third baptism, in a Catholic church, not knowing that the other two were part of the Church of England.”

Spencer chimed in, “So we essentially have a Catholic child.” Which I think is fine! I think it’s more progressive, if anything.’

Vogue quipped, “If we have a fourth, we don’t know what we’re going to do. ‘Probably something completely different.’

Since summer 2020, the happy couple has had their own podcast in which they discuss various topics related to their everyday life at home.

The podcast allows listeners to be like a fly on the wall as they chat about anything and everything in their marriage.

Speaking about the collaboration, Vogue said: “We work together a little bit, but we really enjoy it because we’re apart most of the time and it’s nice to get together, chat and be uninterrupted.”

“We’re really excited to be going on tour because it kind of feels like we’re going on vacation.”

Regarding the tour, she added: “The tour is going to be a big show.” People pay money to see us.

“We do a bit of stand-up on tour because we are known to be competitive with each other and we want to know who the audience thinks is funnier.”

“We want it to be a great night and we’ve done three dates in Ireland and now we’re doing in the UK and more dates in Ireland.”

Spencer continued: “It’s more of a production, it’s a stage show.” It’s more of an event. It’s a little less censored, there’s no one controlling it. And then it doesn’t live on a platform.

Vogue added: “Standing up is something I said I would never do because my best friend is a comedian and it’s just something that would scare me.”

“But it was actually a lot of fun working on it. We do about six minutes each. “For me it’s all about beating up Spenny.”

The couple have been together since meeting while competing on Channel 4’s celebrity skiing competition The Jump in early 2017.

They announced their engagement in February 2018 and married in June 2018 in a secret ceremony in the Scottish Highlands on Spencer’s family’s 30,000-acre estate.

Speaking about their first meeting, Spencer said: “When we met, I told her I thought we were going to get married on the first day.”

Vogue replied: “I mean, he didn’t really mean it.” “We both really tried to be single when we met on The Jump, but it just didn’t work out that way.”

Spencer added: “It was an observation of mine and then I spent the rest of the time trying to achieve that just so I wouldn’t be wrong. ‘I don’t like being wrong.’
