Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang MARRIES Andraia Allsop in intimate LA ceremony – with groom in attendance

Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang has married his long-time partner Andraia Allsop in an intimate ceremony in LA – three years after the death of his rock legend father at the age of 65.

Wolfgang, 32, who has been dating Andraia for eight years, tied the knot at the couple’s home while the bassist walked down the aisle alongside his mother Valerie Bertinelli, 63, to a song called 316, which his late father wrote for him had written – in honor of his birth date is March 16th.

Wolfgang and Andraia, who married on October 15, the eighth anniversary of their first date, also paid tribute to the missing music icon during the ceremony, telling people that they saved a chair for him at the ceremony and made it a memory charm of Wolf and Eddie on it for people to view during the day.

Bertinelli also lent Andraia a necklace that Eddie had given her for the day, saying, “Ed would have been absolutely beaming and so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming and so happy that he found Andraia, someone.” “who truly understands Wolfie who he is and who he wants to be and supports him wholeheartedly.”

The couple married in their living room and the reception for their 90 guests was held in the backyard. The ceremony was officiated by one of the Van Halen family’s closest friends.

Both Mammoth WVH star Wolfgang and Andraia wrote their own vows and honored their departed loved ones in their speeches.

Wolfgang wore a tailored three-piece suit, while Andraia wore an Eva Lendel dress with sheer sleeves and beaded trim.

The couple’s “hints of an Italian” wedding feast included tortellini en brodo soup, braised short ribs, pesto chicken and cauliflower steaks.

For dessert we had tiramisu and a vanilla wedding cake with buttercream vanilla frosting.

Surprisingly, Grammy-nominated star Wolfgang did not perform at his wedding and the couple hired a DJ for the reception.

He quipped, “I think people’s first impression is, ‘Oh, are you going to play something?'” And it’s like, no, that’s the last thing I want to do. I’m going on tour in 11 days. I do not want. The last thing I want to think about is playing anything.’

The couple first met on Instagram in 2015 on their first date, where they enjoyed sushi in Aroha before watching the sunset in Malibu.

The wedding comes just over three years after legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s death following a stroke and a long-term battle with cancer.

Bertinelli, best known for her work on “One Day at a Time, Touched by an Angel” and “Hot in Cleveland,” revealed last year in her memoir, “Enough Almost: Learning to Love the Way I Am Today,” that Eddie’s last words to her were “I love you.”

Bertinelli and Van Halen were married for 26 years and remained close after their divorce in 2007, Bertinelli wrote, as she was by his side when he died.

In an excerpt from the memoir, Bertinelli revealed the touching last words they exchanged before his death at age 65, as well as the gift her “soulmate” gave her during his battle with cancer.

Bertinelli and the ex-couple’s son, Wolfgang, were among the relatives who accompanied Eddie in the hospital during his final weeks of life. Also present were Van Halen’s second wife, Janie Liszewski, and his brother, Alex Van Halen.

The rocker suffered from pneumonia, myelodysplastic syndrome of bone marrow disease and lung cancer, but ultimately died of a stroke.

Bertinelli revealed the poignant last words her ex-husband said to her and their son.

“‘I love you’ are the last words Ed says to Wolfie and me,” Valerie remembers, “and they are the last words we say to him before he stops breathing.”

Bertinelli, whose connection to Eddie grew stronger as his cancer spread and death loomed, also recalled the touching gift he gave her a year before his death.

Eddie had bought Valerie a gold bar the size of a pendant during her cancer treatment in Germany.

The rocker asked for a private chat on Thanksgiving Day 2019 and gave her the touching gift after they went to a friend’s car to chat.

“I hope you don’t think it’s weird, you know, that I bought my ex-wife this gift and I didn’t get my wife anything,” Eddie said with tears in his eyes. ‘I just love you.’

“He wants me to know he screwed up.” [during our marriage]’ wrote Valerie. “I also contributed to our problems and I’m sorry too.”

Valerie also expressed her regret for holding herself back from deepening their friendship during his battle with cancer.

Although they were both remarried, Valerie said both marriages had problems.

“There’s no chance we’ll get back together,” she said, “but I know if one of us opened up, the other would too, and I don’t want to get involved in that.”

Valerie struggled to describe their relationship but said there was “no greater love” than the one they felt for each other.

Heartbreak: Eddie was 65 when he died after battling throat cancer for several years

“I cannot explain the feelings Ed and I had for each other,” she wrote. “Who knows if he hadn’t died?” I doubt that. I loved him more than I can explain, and there’s nothing sexual about it. It was more than that. And Ed and I understood that.’

“There is no greater love than the one we had between the two of us, and from that we made this beautiful son.”

Valerie ultimately filed for a legal separation from her second husband Tom Vitale in November 2021, but said her “love” for Eddie played no role in the split.

“We grew apart,” the Hot In Cleveland actress said. “The decision has nothing to do with my love for Ed. “I wish Tom the best and I know he feels the same way about me.”
