Forward William Nylander is moving to the Toronto Maple Leafs this season and his value is rapidly increasing in the eyes of head coach Sheldon Keefe.

The driver for the Queen City team had high praise for the 27-year-old Swede. On Monday, Keefe said he was impressed with the right winger’s talent.
“He continues to develop and takes on responsibility. His confidence is greater than ever. “We definitely have an improved “Willy,” said the instructor.
“Is this new? I think he made a lot of progress for us last season. “He’s done it every season, but he’s gotten to the point where he’s excelling in the league,” Keefe added.
Last season, Nylander set a career high with 87 points and also reached the 40-goal mark for the first time. The eighth overall pick in the 2014 draft continued in the same way in his first two duels of the current season and collected five points, including three goals.
Nylander will become a free agent next summer when his six-year contract with an average annual value of $7 million expires. The Maple Leafs also need to make room in the salary cap, and nothing is certain in that regard.
