One of the lawyers representing the Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny and that yesterday was untraceable, Alexander Fedulovdeclared on his Instagram profile that he had left Russia.
“The situation has taken a strange turn,” Fedulov writes on the social network. “The arrest of our colleagues who defended Navalny has brought about significant changes in the work of the lawyers who are still available. The huge amount of work, the number of court cases and the current situation forced me to leave Russia,” says the lawyer, without revealing his current position.
Navalny’s legal team reported yesterday that Fedulov did not appear as planned for the Russian opponent’s hearing in the penal colony and that his phone appeared to be turned off. On October 13, three of Navalny’s lawyers – Igor Sergunin, Alexey Liptser and Vadim Kobzev – were arrested on suspicion of involvement in an “extremist organization.”

Russian missiles against the Kharkiv region
