Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that “no one can stop the resistance forces” if Israel continues its bombardment of the Gaza Strip in response to Hamas’ shock attack on October 7.
If the crimes of the Zionist (Israeli) regime continue, Muslims and resistance forces will become impatient and no one can stop them.
Iran has been in close contact with its regional allies, including the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and pro-Tehran Iraqi militias, since the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas attacked Israel, breaching the heavily fortified Gaza border and killing more than 1,400 people, most of them including civilians.
“No matter what the Zionist regime does, it cannot make up for the scandalous failure it has suffered,” Khamenei said.
On Monday, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian spoke of possible “preventive measures” by the “resistance front” against Israel, while President Ebrahim Raisi said time for a political solution was running out.
Tehran, which provides financial and military support to Hamas militants, celebrated the Hamas attack but stressed that it had no involvement.
