Shannen Doherty updated fans on her battle with cancer.

In an Instagram post on Sunday (October 15, 23), the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star offered words of encouragement to herself and her followers.
“Today was a tough day,” the actress captioned a selfie. “For obvious reasons and others that are less obvious. But every day I get up again and hope that I feel better. May things get better for people. That the obvious is not necessarily complicated. »
She also added a cryptic message: “As I send love and peace to myself, I also send love to each of you.” Even to those who threatened me last week… May God be in your hearts. »
The actress did not provide any information about the nature of the threats she received.
Shannen Doherty first spoke about her breast cancer in 2015. The cancer went into remission in 2017 but returned in 2020 and worsened to stage four. In June 2023, she announced that it had spread to the brain.
