Loki season 2 only has two episodes so far, but it has already introduced fascinating characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among them are the terrible ones General Dox (Kate Dickie), who is responsible for killing more people than Thanos (Josh Brolin) who, as we know, wiped out half of life on Earth.
But in a moment that may have gone unnoticed by even the most attentive fans, the Disney+ series also brought with it an Easter egg that confirms the existence of another character in the MCU: Telephone Ranger who is definitely one of Marvel’s strangest heroes.

In the second episode of the new season, during the premiere of the film Zaniac!, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) walk past a collection of posters advertising various films. Among them we can identify Phone Ranger, which shows a photo of the hero accompanied by the phrase: “Criminals, he has your number”.

The hero appeared in the comics in 1985 and has only been seen three times since then. AG Bell his real name worked repairing phones until one day he found a device that served as a habitat for a colony of tiny aliens who eventually fled when the phone broke.
However, the beings left behind their strange technology, which Bell used to create a device that allowed him to directly interact with any communication technology. Thus was born the Phone Ranger, who coincidentally has the power to control communication devices to fight crime.
