Alec Baldwin could be charged again in the deadly Rust shooting in 2021, New Mexico prosecutors confirmed to Fox News Digital.
“After extensive investigations over the past several months, additional facts have come to light that we believe establish Mr. Baldwin as criminally guilty in the death of Halyna Hutchins and the shooting of Joel Souza,” special prosecutors Morrissey and Lewis said in a statement. They added: “We believe the appropriate course of action is to allow a panel of New Mexico citizens to decide from here whether Mr. Baldwin should be held for criminal proceedings.”
Baldwin’s lawyers responded to the claims in a statement to Fox News Digital: “It is unfortunate that a terrible tragedy led to this misguided prosecution. We will address all charges in court.”
