Israel releases video of rocket misfires it says occurred at the same time as an explosion hit a hospital in Gaza
The IDF shared raw footage showing the moment a rocket misfired and exploded at the same time it hit the hospital in Gaza, killing 500 people.
“A rocket aimed at Israel misfired and exploded at 6:59 p.m. – the same moment a hospital in Gaza was hit,” the IDF wrote on Twitter.
The video shows a rocket exploding in the air before sinking into the depths.
Israel on Tuesday denied responsibility for the explosion at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, claiming it was a misfired rocket fired by Islamic Jihad terrorists in Palestine.
An Islamic Jihad spokesman blamed Israel for the attack and accused the IDF of “trying to cover up the terrible crime and massacre they committed against civilians.”
