Emicida’s brother accuses Juliette of plagiarism and threatens legal action

And it wasn’t just the fans who noticed! Evandro Fióti, brother and producer of Emicida, spoke on this topic and also pointed out the copying in the visual identity of both projects. In an Instagram Live appearance, Fióti candidly erupted.

“There are a lot of white artists that we see everywhere who have barely released an album and within a year have already won a Grammy. It took us 12 years to win a Grammy. The launch of Juliette and Duda Beat is part of a campaign to reposition the brand. The company in question even contacted the Emicida team to invite the artist to join this project. But according to Fióti, the parties have not reached an agreement.

“This brand negotiated with us, but also on the schedule, deadline and financial issues we could not agree, since the budget they had did not justify the delivery that we had to make,” the producer explained live.
