“There seems to be movement regarding Conor Garland; “I heard a third team might be coming into play,” he wrote. Talks are underway with teams like the Nashville Predators, Washington Capitals, Columbus Blue Jackets and at least one other Eastern team. The Canucks want this done as quickly as possible, but money is an important factor. How creative can they be?”

In fact, it won’t be easy for several teams to accept the Vancouver small forward’s contract. This will represent a $4.9 million salary impact through the end of the 2025-2026 season. The 27-year-old scored 17 goals and 29 assists for 46 points in 81 games last year.
Garland has scored one goal in three games since the start of this season.
