Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin each had three points. The former scored two goals and provided one assist, while the latter provided three assists. David Perron was the winning team’s other goalscorer. It was the Quebecers’ first game of the season.

In the Pens camp, Erik Karlsson was involved in all of his team’s goals. He put the puck behind Ville Husso’s back and set up Evgeny Malkin and Bryan Rust at the net.

The Red Wings will return to action this Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. On the same day, the Penguins have a meeting with the St. Louis Blues.
