Gwyneth Paltrow vows to ‘disappear from public life’

Gwyneth Paltrow has announced her retirement plans.

In an interview with Bustle, the actress and Goop founder revealed that she plans to sell the wellness company she founded in 2008. The star hopes to end her activities in “a few years” to focus on her family, after which she will disappear from the public scene. “I’m literally going to disappear from public life,” the 51-year-old actress said on Wednesday. No one will ever see me again.”

According to the New York Times, Goop was worth $250 million in 2018.

In his interview, the Iron Man star also defended the “nepo-baby” phenomenon in Hollywood, saying there’s “nothing wrong with doing or wanting to do what your parents do.”

“Now there’s this whole culture of Nepo babies and condemning famous people’s children,” she explained. No one bullies a child who says, “I want to be a doctor like my father and grandfather.”

Gwyneth Paltrow has claimed that her own daughter Apple, 19, is “a very private person” who has no desire to follow in her mother’s footsteps at the moment. “She just wants to be a kid, go to school and learn,” the star shared.

Gwyneth Paltrow married producer Brad Falchuk in 2018, who has two children, a daughter Isabella, 19, and a son Brody, 17. The actress also has two children, a daughter Apple, 19, and a son Moses, 17 , born from her union with Coldplay singer Chris Martin.
