Oppo presents its Find N3. At first glance, it’s clear that the device stands out from its competitors, even if the news is bittersweet for the French market.

Oppo’s Find N3 was definitely worth the wait, but what a disappointment to know that we won’t have a chance to experience it after Oppo ceases operations in France.
At first glance, the Find N3 is fascinating. Unlike its predecessors with a more square format, the N3 has a more traditional screen. At 7.8 inches, this foldable Amoled screen has a resolution of 2,240 x 2,268 pixels. It supports PWM at 1440 Hz for less eye strain, 1-120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, up to 1400 nits in high brightness mode and up to 2800 nits in peak. This is honestly an impressive spec sheet. And that “wrinkle” everyone is talking about? She is almost invisible.

But the most surprising thing is the self-repairing coating on the screen. No more micro-scratches that prematurely age our phones: this coating ensures that the screen keeps its new look for much longer. For the external screen, Oppo chose a more classic 20:9 format in a 6.31-inch format. It has a resolution of 2,484 x 1,116 pixels and a pixel density of 431 ppi is also impressive, especially thanks to its performance in terms of brightness and refresh rate.

Exceptional robustness and photographic capabilities
Oppo hasn’t skimped on robustness. The third-generation Flexion hinge, a mix of liquid metal and high-quality steel, would give the Find N3 remarkable stability. What’s more, it’s proven to be foldable millions of times! In comparison, the previous model from Oppo and that from Samsung are far behind. Although the N3 is not completely waterproof, it is splash-proof. A real plus in this format!

The Find N3 particularly shines in the area of photography. The main sensor is a LYTIA-T808 from Sony. More light, more details: the photos promise to be remarkable. Zoom enthusiasts will be delighted by the 64 megapixel periscope telephoto lens (3x optical zoom and 6x “lossless” zoom by cropping), and fans of wide angles will be delighted by a 48 megapixel camera (14 mm, Sony IMX581 1/2 sensor thumb).
But the innovation doesn’t stop there: thanks to Oppo Computational Photography (OCP), this technology completes this spectrum and promises a significant improvement in the quality of HDR images.
For your video calls, you can choose either the 32-megapixel f/2.4 (1/3.14-inch, 26mm equivalent) external selfie camera or the 16-megapixel f/2.2 (1/3, 26 mm equivalent) internal front camera. 09 inches) decide 29 mm). You also have the choice of an external 20:9 display or an internal 19:10 display, with the latter recommended for the best aspect ratio.

When it comes to performance, the Find N3 should be a beast. Powered by the chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage (UFS 4.1) promises fluidity and responsiveness. Fast charging, whether wired or wireless, is also an undeniable advantage.
The Find N3 is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that is compatible with 120W SuperVOOC 4.0 wired technology, which allows a full charge in 26 minutes. It also features 50W AirVOOC wireless charging technology, which also reaches 100% in 26 minutes. To manage heat while charging, it has a dual heat pipe cooling system.
Despite all this progress, the news is bitter: Oppo will not market this Find N3 in France. A regrettable choice because this smartphone seems to combine all the qualities to establish itself as a benchmark in the foldable device market. However, I have excellent news: OnePlus (the same company as Oppo) is about to unveil its own foldable smartphone… identical to the Oppo Find 3. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will be available in France.
Although not available for direct sale in France, the Find N3 is available in European countries such as Spain and Italy and costs around 1600 euros, slightly less than the Find N2. You can easily buy it in Europe, for example on Amazon Italy.
