RBA Gaza’s Ministry of Health has released a new report on the deaths and destruction caused by Israel’s massacres of the Palestinian people. The attacks began on October 7 after an attack by the Hamas armed group on Israeli territory. The latest figures reveal an unprecedented tragedy: a total of 3,785 Palestinians were killed and 12,493 injured. However, it is certain that these numbers are even higher.
Among the most repulsive data for the Arab world and for humanitarians is the fact that 1,524 of the fatal victims are children, a thousand are women and 120 are elderly. In addition, 3,983 children and 3,300 women were among the injured. Among the Israeli attacks, those on hospitals and patient care referral centers stand out. In fact, this is the modus operandi of the Zionist state forces. More than 20 hospitals have already been bombed and more than a dozen UN schools are among the targets.
As a result, there are a large number of victims among healthcare professionals. According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, at least 44 health workers died and another 70 were injured while carrying out their humanitarian duty to care for those in need.
Deliberate attacks in Gaza The Ministry of Health emphasized the seriousness of the situation. Ministry officials claim that “Israeli forces appear to have intentionally attacked 23 ambulances, which are now completely out of service.” The decommissioning of these emergency vehicles represents an additional obstacle to rapid and effective care of victims.

In addition, official data mentions 19 health units that were directly or indirectly attacked. The action forced the suspension of operations at 14 health centers connected to the Ministry of Health’s primary care system in the Gaza Strip. The power outage lasted more than seven days and severe fuel shortages jeopardized the operation of all health facilities, further deteriorating the humanitarian situation. “All health facilities are threatened with complete closure,” the ministry says.
The international community, led by Brazil at the head of the UN Security Council, continues to push for a ceasefire and a return to dialogue. Israel, however, forgoes this option and relies on United States support to maintain the routine of massacres. Attacks by ground troops are still expected, making the genocide worse and likely to lead to an increase in deaths and war crimes such as rape and attacks on hospitals.
Sacrifice in Israel According to Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, the October 7 Hamas attack killed 1,400 people, including many civilians, at an electronic music festival near the Gaza Strip. According to the local government, 120 people remain hostage to the Palestinian armed group. However, it is worth highlighting that, according to the United Nations, between 2008 and 2020, 96% of those killed in conflicts in Israel and Palestine were Palestinian. And Sinonist attacks continue, including land incursions in the West Bank. There is also news of a bomb attack on an Orthodox church that served as a refuge for 400 Palestinians in the area.
