Marc Beaupré gives details about his role in STAT – 7 Jours

“This is the first time in my career that I am playing a caring character. I have often played villains and antagonists. That’s why I’m very happy to play the role of a smart, brilliant guy like Steve Jolicoeur.” Note that the latter joins the staff of Saint-Vincent Hospital to replace general surgeon Isabelle Granger (Geneviève Schmidt), who plans to to work in Saudi Arabia. “Steve will cover for her in her absence. In the individual episodes we will see him both in the operating room and with patients in the intensive care unit. Steve is confronted with different situations. Within his new team he quickly made connections with Delphine, Emmanuelle and Pascal (Virginie Ranger-Beauregard, Suzanne Clément, Normand D’Amour). We will also notice that Steve is a bit arrogant at times. In addition, not everyone will like his rebellious side. The actor tells us that his new work schedule allows him to spend a lot of time with his family in the company of his partner, actress and author Catherine Larochelle, and their nine-year-old daughter Romane. “I photograph four days a week and am lucky enough to be home with my daughter in the evenings. This schedule suits me perfectly and I really enjoy filming on this set.”
