Friendship

Unfortunately, your browser does not support videos

While some are only interested in Taylor Swift’s love stories, her fans know what’s most important to the singer: her circle of friends. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, the Haim sisters, Blake Lively and even Sophie Turner (whom she was recently spotted with, days after the divorce was announced between Turner and the man who was also Taylor’s lover Joe Jonas)…Swift is it well surrounded and highlights these precious friendships, a constant reminder that sisterhood triumphs through stories of the heart (as the iconic music video for the song Bad Blood will always remind us).

Taylor Swift fans exchange bracelets before the screening of Taylor Swift’s film.

It all started with a song. “All you lose is a step you take/So make the friendship bracelets/Take the moment and taste it,” the singer preaches in the song You’re on Your Own, Kid, from her latest album Midnights . His fans took it literally. At his concerts, it has become a ritual to exchange friendship bracelets engraved with song lyrics or references to Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift’s lush folklore-based collaboration with the esteemed Aaron Dessner (member of The National) in 2020 is a true turning point in the singer’s career; Their first song together, Cardigan, was an instant success. Then they continued with their next two albums, all of which received great acclaim. Swift knows how to surround herself well: she has worked for 10 years with the brilliant director Jack Antonoff, another magician whose touch enhances the singer’s work. His recent collaboration with Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) over the years also sparked a collaboration on Dessner and Vernon’s Big Red Machine project with the popular songs “Exile” (Folklore) and “Renegade.”

Taylor Swift on an Eras tour

This is the tour everyone is talking about right now. It’s so popular that it’s almost impossible to participate. The initial ticket sale caused a crash on the Ticketmaster platform, which recorded the largest sales by an artist in a single day. The Eras Tour is: a three-hour show with no fewer than 44 songs across 10 acts and breathtaking production that only stadiums can accommodate. At these concerts, Taylor Swift visits her entire repertoire, i.e. the different “eras” of her career.
