Britney Spears detailed the brief romance she had with Colin Farrell in the early 2000s, saying the two had an intense “makeout session.” The story is part of the biography “The Woman in Me,” which will be published on October 24th. In excerpts published by Time this Thursday (19), the Little Princess of Pop explained how she met the actor and again mentioned Justin Timberlake.
According to Britney, Timberlake slept with “six or seven girls” in the weeks after their relationship “officially” ended. Naturally, she was quite upset by her ex’s attitude. The artist decided that it was time to move on and start dating again. Spears met Farrell while the actor was filming SWAT. The duo was introduced by a “nightclub promoter friend.” They quickly bonded and she visited the set of the production that Colin was taking part in.
In an excerpt from the work, the singer suggested that the involvement was sexual in nature and described their relationship as “two weeks of strong sex.” “Catch is the only word for it. We were so passionate about each other that it was like we were in a street fight,” he wrote.
But in 2003, the artist accompanied Colin to the premiere of the film “The Recruit” and realized that she still hadn’t gotten over Timberlake. “Like before, when I was feeling very committed to a man, I tried my best to tell myself that it wasn’t a big deal, that we were just having fun, and that in this case I was being vulnerable because I wasn’t yet about Justin,” explained.

On the day of the premiere, the actor was asked about his relationship with the voice of “Toxic” and said, “We’re not dating. She is a very sweet girl. There’s nothing going on, [somos] just friends.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Britney left the event “as soon as the paparazzi left.”
Later that year, Britney told W Magazine that her romance with Colin was temporary. “Yes, I kissed him… He is the cutest, hottest thing in the world, wow! But it was nothing serious,” he explained. In the bio, she didn’t give many details about the split from Farrell, but admitted she was thinking about something more serious. “For a brief moment I thought there might be something there. The disappointments in my love life were just part of my isolation. I felt so weird the whole time,” she commented.
