Listen to her version of the song “Le reste du temps”: Andréanne A. Malette reinterprets a piece by Francis Cabrel

Andréanne A. Malette presented the piece on Friday The rest of the time, a reinterpretation of the success of Francis Cabrel, which lays the foundation for the release of his fourth album, Disturbed gardenswhich will arrive in seats on April 19, 2024.

The magnificent piece was directed by its interpreter and his privileged accomplice, Antoine Lachance.

The rest of the time is accompanied by a music video in Andréanne A. Malette style, in which the singer-songwriter can be seen alongside Moses Nama. Filming, directed by Andréanne and Catherine Deslauriers, took place at Abbotsford Gardens in Saint-Paul-D’Abbotsford and at Mont-Sacré-Cœur College in Granby.

“At the beginning of the summer, this Francis Cabrel song popped back into my head like a distant memory. I learned to play the guitar and discovered a calming familiarity and comfort that is just as great as singing on my own. Maybe because my mother listened to Cabrel non-stop while I was in her womb. Or maybe because it represents exactly the themes of the upcoming new album: light, well-being and all the flowers that have bloomed since I watered my disturbed gardens,” said Andréanne A. Malette on Friday.
