Pélissanne: "Where it takes place"a new application to (finally) find good trip ideas – La Provence

The idea is very simple, explains CEO Frédéric Paul Lerussi. I was looking for places to go out with my wife. When we search on Facebook we often find meetings that are taking place in four months or trips that have already taken place… So we give up quickly and yet there are many offers.”

The resident of Pélissanne therefore had the idea of launching the “Où ça éclair” application to bring together all the excursion ideas and thus know where to have a drink, play karaoke, listen to a concert… nearby. The application locates the user and, depending on his tastes, introduces him to all the establishments that organize events.

A helping hand for professionals

The company founded by Frédéric and his two partners has nineteen shareholders who believe in this project. It must be said that the application is intended for both professionals and individuals. “There are professionals such as bars and restaurants that offer events, but not always everyone knows about them. By referencing it in the app, the event appears to people who consult it with precise information. “The user finds the location of the event, the characteristics, the route, the menu for example …,” explains the creator.

The professional thus manages his registration independently and completes the useful information to inform the organized event. “A company has two options: choose a subscription for €12.99 per month or for a year for €129 or three months free. A statistical database is available behind this to determine the number of visitors.”

Thanks to this website, the listed professionals can more easily introduce themselves to their clients. “The company can insert a QR code that allows access to the application. The customer can then add that location to their favorites and receive notifications about new events taking place at that location.”

Around twenty professionals from the department have already registered to apply, including Sébastien Enderlé, owner of the Cotton Club in La Ciotat. “It is a piano bar restaurant with regular entertainment. The problem we have is communicating the dates of the shows to customers,” explains the manager. “We use social networks, but there is too much information that people forget. We can’t communicate properly and that’s time consuming. The application is a good tool to inform customers about what is happening.”

Frédéric and his colleagues have no plans to stop. “By installing QR codes, we are in contact with wholesalers for bars and restaurants and thus increase awareness of the site.”

Time saving for individuals

“Due to inflation, people are going out less often than before and are choosing their own outings. By going to Where it is set, we simplify your life and give you access to all the excursions listed to make your choice easier,” assures Frédéric Paul Lerussi. also musicians.

An individual can view the application or create an account for free to receive notifications. And the designers have thought of everything to unite. “By creating your account, you can sponsor an unlisted location by earning 10 points per location. With a total of 100 points, customers can receive a gift voucher that they can redeem on any of the listed websites,” they emphasize.
