NHL: Boston Bruins’ Jake DeBrusk penalized

Jake DeBrusk will not take part in the Boston Bruins’ game against the Kings in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.

In fact, the 27-year-old striker was late for a team meeting and was therefore ignored by head coach Jim Montgomery. Milan Lucic should take his place in a trio completed by Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak.

DeBrusk has yet to get on the scoresheet in three games this season and has averaged 17:39 of ice time.

As a reminder, the 14th overall pick in the 2015 draft is currently in the final year of his contract, which pays him $4 million per campaign. In 388 games in the National League (NHL), the Edmonton native scored 119 goals and 107 assists for 226 points.
