Detroit synagogue president stabbed

AGI – The President of Detroit Synagogue, Samantha Woll, She was found dead at the entrance to her house with multiple stab wounds on her body. According to CNN, police believe she was stabbed in her home and there are currently no suspicions about the motive for the murder.

Samantha Woll, 40, led the synagogue communityat Isaac Agree Downtown. The synagogue confirmed Woll’s death in a statement, writing: “We are shocked and saddened to learn of Samantha Woll’s unexpected death. May her memory be a blessing,” the statement continued.

An investigation is underway. Woll had ties to the Democrats. He previously worked for Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin and participated in Attorney General Dana Nessel’s re-election campaign.

Slotkin praised Woll’s commitment to serving Detroit’s communities: “She did for our team as deputy district director what came so naturally to her: helping others and serving constituents,” Slotkin wrote in a statement on X. “In “He dedicated his short life to building understanding between faiths and bringing light to the face of darkness.”
