A video went viral on TikTok in which a woman describes her confusion when her neighbor painted her own side of the fence without worrying about the outcome on her side.
The fence that separates the two yards is only 18 months old, explained the TikToker, who had no intention of painting it.

However, when his neighbor painted his side of the fence, there were numerous paint marks on his side as well as paint buildup on the underside.
The TikToker explains that she initially wanted to confront her neighbor, but then wondered if she had the right to do so.
“The neighbors painted their fence… but look at what ours looks like!!!,” the video reads, immediately followed by: “Would you say something!?”

Since its release, the video has been viewed 90,000 times and received hundreds of likes.
Angry Internet users said they would take revenge, but others instead came to the neighbor’s aid.
“I would paint it brown and do the same on her side.”
“There is only one thing to do: paint your page a bright color.”
“It’s their fence considering the way it’s oriented. They can do whatever they want. I suggest you paint your side the same color.
“Personally, I would just ask them what color they used so I can match it. Life is too short to fight for things like this.”
