Terrazza a Mare, the sea terrace, is a popular tourist platform in Lignano – but with an expiration date. The café-restaurant on Lignano Sabbiadoro beach is being completely renovated and partially rebuilt. “The restaurant is currently open for events upon request. During the pre-Christmas period, guests will again be welcome without prior registration. It is expected to remain open until around Três Reis. Just this week the municipality published the tenders for the new Terrazza a Mare. According to the Friuli daily “Messaggero Veneto”, the contest was already visible on the internet a few days ago. However, companies have only been able to present their offers since Friday because the publication also had to appear in print. The bidding period ends on November 21st.
Including taxes, the construction volume is 14 million euros. Construction time is estimated at 882 days. This is more than one season. For this reason, but also to stay reasonably within the cost estimate, we aim to start construction as quickly as possible, at the beginning of next year.
