Like a horde of power-hungry pirates, the LTC dancers imposed their rhythm on the masters Revolution, Sunday evening, in their direct duel against the girls from Empire.

“I was looking for French music and when I listened to this piece I thought it sounded like a victory,” said Kristopher, the oldest member of LTC. It was festive, it gave the impression of dancing and celebrating a victory. In personal situations, you are not there to be nice or make friends, but to win. That’s how the idea for Pirates came to me.” Kristopher also knows the mechanics of Revolution well, having been part of the MARVL squad that made it into the unlikely duos in the first season.

LTC relies heavily on the explosiveness and dynamism of its dancers. “Every second of our choreography, someone is in the air, someone else on the ground is spinning or doing flips,” Marco said. Our energy is completely different than anyone else’s, that’s what sets us apart.”

The two troops’ mission for this leg was to demonstrate that each individual is as strong as the group, a challenge that LTC appears to have overcome. “Breaking is a very individual art,” analyzed Kristopher. When we start, we learn to work on ourselves, on our own movements. We create a self-esteem that ensures that we can assert ourselves in competition. It allows us to be strong alone and as a group. The guys from LTC have been dancing together for a long time, the chemistry between them is great both as a group and individually.”
