Israeli planes hit two Hezbollah cells in Lebanon, according to Israeli military sources. The Israeli military said late Monday that anti-tank missiles and rockets would be fired at Israel from the two positions. According to the army, one cell was located near the Israeli town of Mattat, about 13 kilometers southwest of Aitaroun. The other was further north, in the disputed Shebaa Farms area.

Lebanese state news agency NNA had previously reported an Israeli airstrike on the southern outskirts of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon. It was initially unclear whether both sides were referring to the same incidents.
