German fashion chain is insolvent: all 130 branches will close soon CHIP Online Germany

The crisis in the German fashion market continues: in recent weeks and months, some well-known chains and manufacturers have had to declare bankruptcy – including the Munich supplier Hallhuber. After the procedure began, the retailer had to close its online store in June (CHIP reported).

However, the company in Germany now faces a final demise: as Frank Elsner, whose company is currently responsible for Hallhuber’s communications, confirmed to CHIP, the planned liquidation measures are already well advanced.

According to Elsner, the lease agreements for all 130 branches have already been terminated and the locations will now be closed until the end of October. Currently, only 60 Hallhuber branches are still in operation.
