The official presentation date of the Xiaomi 14 series has been announced. So see you in a few days to discover those that will try to be the first smartphones equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

We knew they were coming soon, but now we know the exact date and time of the announcement. No wonder, then, the official presentation of the Xiaomi 14 is imminent. On its official Weibo account, the manufacturer publishes an image revealing the information.
Xiaomi 14 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The Xiaomi 14 series will therefore be presented on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 7 p.m. in China (Beijing time) – or 1 p.m. in Paris. As you can imagine, the timing is by no means random. At the same time – from October 24th to 26th – Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit will take place, at which the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be presented.

In other words, Xiaomi wants to ensure that it is among the very first manufacturers – if not THE first – to ship the new high-end chip. The Chinese brand has accustomed us to this type of strategy that aims to improve its brand image. If the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro come out on top with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, that will give them a little extra marketing argument.
Be careful, though, just because Xiaomi has announced the date of its conference doesn’t mean another brand won’t try to pull the rug out from under it.

Also note that the announcement is coming earlier than ever, from the end of October. Typically, announcements of the latest Snapdragon chip and Xiaomi flagship come towards the end of the year, but the schedule has gradually shifted.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s performance isn’t the only quality worth highlighting. The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro also promise great things photographically in collaboration with Leica.
Finally, you should know that this is a conference dedicated to the Chinese market. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are not expected to arrive in Europe until 2024.
