Tinder wants your friends to get involved in your dating
“For years, singles have asked their friends to help them find their next partner on Tinder,” said Melissa Hobley, chief marketing officer at Tinder. “Tinder Matchmaker brings your circle of trust into your dating journey, helping you see the opportunities you may be overlooking from the perspective of your loved ones.”
As you probably understood, after clicking on a link, the selected matchmaker can access your account and then has a whole day to recommend profiles to his loved ones. However, friends and family with the link cannot send messages on behalf of the user. Finally, It is always the user who decides who he likes.
After 24 hours, profiles liked by matchmakers are marked as “recommendations”. According to a study commissioned by Tinder, More than 75% of young singles discuss their dating habits with their friends several times a month, so this feature will greatly simplify the process. Additionally, there is a way to delete a match if you have ever “matched” with someone but found that they were ultimately not right for you.
