Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at his private residence a few minutes after 9 p.m. (local time) last night. Two security officers who rushed over after hearing a noise from the bedroom discovered that Putin had “collapsed on the floor” and immediately called for help while he was in the apartment, wrote the Telegram channel “General Svr”, which was attributed without confirmation to the former Russian generals of foreign intelligence, writes the British newspaper Daily Express.
Doctors then “revived” Putin after he was diagnosed with cardiac arrest, according to the article republished by the tabloid. The president was later hospitalized in rooms at the residence equipped for medical emergencies and intensive care. His condition has now stabilized and he remains under constant medical supervision. Putin was allegedly found next to the bed and at an overturned table with drinks and food. When he fell, he probably also knocked over the table with the dishes, causing the noise that sent the guards running. “On the ground, Putin twitched, his eyes rolling in their sockets.”
General Svr, who has just over 16,000 followers (the pro-war channels have hundreds of thousands of followers) and who has already denounced the president’s deteriorating health in the past, stressed that last night’s cardiac arrest had caused serious concern within the circle power.
In the next few hours, the post says, there will be meetings to discuss the next steps after the possible death. According to this source, doctors had already determined some time ago that the president would not survive the fall. Recently, Putin lookalikes are said to have attended all official and public meetings.
According to Adnkronos, following the news published this morning, a meeting of the State Agency for National Emergencies in Kyiv District was interrupted to investigate further information.
