Connor Bedard will have to be patient before finding Taylor Hall on his wings as the Chicago Blackhawks veteran’s left shoulder injury has worsened.
The 31-year-old, who was injured in the game against the Boston Bruins on October 11th, will be sidelined indefinitely. Hall missed the next meeting against the Canadian in Montreal.

He then returned to the game, but was injured again last Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
“He was trying to play through his injury,” Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson said, nhl.com reported.
“Rather than force him and risk further injury, he will sit out our next games.” We will reassess the situation from week to week.
Hall has two assists in five games so far in the 2023-24 season. The Hawks acquired Nick Foligno from the Bruins last June.
“He was great from the start of the year, then he got injured in Boston. “He showed a lot of character when he came back to the Toronto game,” Richardson said of Hall.
“He plays more physical, more than people might think, and he’s good on both ends of the ice, so he’s a role model for the younger guys. The guy was MVP (Hart Trophy with the New Jersey Devils in 2018), was the first pick in their draft and is known for his talent and speed. However, it plays both ways and in all the right ways. He makes good decisions to make plays. We’ll definitely miss it, but it’s an opportunity for other people who saw what he did to emulate him.”
The Blackhawks will return to action on Tuesday when the Bruins visit the United Center.
