Shes a Barbie girl Hannah Waddinghams no nonsense Ted Lasso figure

She’s a Barbie girl! Hannah Waddingham’s no-nonsense Ted Lasso figure transforms into the iconic Mattel doll

If you thought Barbie mania was over, think again because Mattel has just introduced a new model in the form of Hannah Waddingham.

The actress’s Ted Lasso character – no-nonsense football boss Rebecca Welton – has been transformed into a brand new Barbie doll.

The doll, which sells for £51, bears an uncanny resemblance to Hannah’s popular character, the owner of the fictional AFC Richmond.

The Barbie wears the same chic champagne blouse as boss Rebecca in the sitcom, with tailored trousers and black pumps.

It comes after months of Barbie mania following the July release of the hit live-action film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

The film grossed more than $1 billion and Greta Gerwig became the first solo director to have her film cross the billion-dollar threshold.

Hannah’s transformation is her latest success after finding global fame with Ted Lasso and hosting the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Graham Norton.

While Hannah recently completed a three-year run as Rebecca Welton, she has previously hinted that she is excited by the prospect of a spin-off focusing on a women’s club in Richmond, which Keeley introduced to Rebecca in the finale of Ted Lasso.

Hannah appeared on the big screen as a factory worker in Les Misérables and as a mother witch in Hocus Pocus 2.

She has also appeared in episodes of Game of Thrones, Sex Education, My Family and Benidorm.

And last week, Apple TV released a first-look photo and premiere date for the Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas special.
