Britney Spears has been arrested by police for the second time in a month after reportedly crossing double the limit.

She received the violation earlier this month after she was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol for allegedly making a wrong turn.

In California, it is illegal to cross solid double yellow lines on the road unless you are turning left at an intersection, turning onto a private road or driveway, riding in a carpool, or directed to do so by construction workers.

This came after Spears was “stopped and ticketed” by the California Highway Patrol in September for driving her car without a license or proof of insurance.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the first traffic violation occurred on September 10, 2023, just a month after her estranged husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce.

Last year, the Grammy winner was caught driving at an “unsafe speed for the prevailing conditions” and received a ticket for the offense on March 10, 2022.

The summons came months after Spears was advised by doctors to be careful behind the wheel as she transitioned into the world following a conservatorship that banned her from driving for 13 years.

At the time, a source told People, “Britney is very happy that the conservatorship now allows her to drive.”

“She is thrilled and extremely grateful for all the help she is receiving right now,” the insider added.

In recent years, Spears has had problems on the road.

In 2006, before her conservatorship, she caused controversy when she was photographed driving with then five-month-old son Sean Preston on her lap.

After the incident, she apologized and reportedly told Access Hollywood, “I made a mistake and I guess it is what it is.”

The next year, Spears was caught apparently walking on a paparazzi’s toes in Beverly Hills, according to MTV.

Around the same time in 2007, she was caught on cameras committing several traffic offenses, including running a red light, using her phone and making an illegal turn.

That same year, ex-husband Kevin Federline also asked a judge to stop Britney from driving their two sons, Jayden and Sean, now 17 and 18.
