Ryan Reynolds celebrated another year around the sun by walking around New York City with his Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy.
The Canadian actor turns 47 on Monday as he was spotted having a fun chat with 55-year-old Levy.
The release comes just days after a report claimed that Deadpool 3 will likely miss its May 3, 2024 release date as filming was only halfway completed when the SAG-AFTRA strike began in mid-July.
Reynolds was seen wearing a white t-shirt under an olive green shirt and a navy blue coat.
He also wore brown-tinted sunglasses and his phone with an olive green back that matched his shirt.

Reynolds completed his look with navy pants and white sneakers during his Big Apple stroll with Levy.
The director – whose appearance with Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift led to rumors that Swift was cast in Deadpool 3 – opted for a navy T-shirt under black and green flannel.
He also had a silver watch peeking out from his flannel and wore sunglasses similar to Reynolds’.
The flimmaker also wore light blue jeans with rolled-up cuffs and completed his look with red and black New Balance running shoes.
While nothing has been officially announced about Taylor Swift’s casting, The Wrap spoke with Levy … who wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumor.
He also expressed doubts that the film can be released in theaters on May 3, 2024 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, as the film is not quite finished yet.
When Levy was asked about the rumors about Swift being cast as Dazzler, he simply said, “They’re definitely loud.”
“I’m going across. “No comment because that’s a double whammy,” Levy insisted.

MCU: He was also asked about the plausibility of the long-awaited sequel – which will bring Ryan Reynolds’ titular character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the first time, after the first two films were made at 20th Century Fox before Disney acquired the studio
“It’s related to Taylor.” And it’s related to the MCU. I am not stupid. “We’ll have to wait and see,” he said.
He was also asked about the plausibility of the long-awaited sequel – which will bring Ryan Reynolds’ titular character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the first time, after the first two films were made at 20th Century Fox before Disney acquired the studio.
The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters on May 3, 2024, kicking off the summer movie season, but now due to the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike, it’s difficult to say whether it could hit its release date or not.
‘I wish I knew. I don’t even know if we have this officially [a release date]. “I know we would be on May 3rd,” Levy said.
“Certainly the actors’ strike and the long production break have put this release date in jeopardy,” Levy added.
“We shot half of the film. I edited half of the film. “We can’t wait to get back to work and release this film next year,” Levy said.
Dazzler was previously played by Halston Sage in the 2019 X-Men film Dark Phoenix.
The character was created as part of a cross-promotional effort with Marvel Comics and Casablanca Records and made his Marvel Comics debut in Uncanny X-Men #130 (February 1980).
The character was born Alison Blaire, who learned as a teenager that she was a mutant with the ability to convert sound waves into beams of light and energy.
