Gil do Vigor criticizes Sheherazade after a former employee exposed the financial drama

After Rachel Sheherazade announced that she was unable to buy a house due to her financial situation, exBBB Gil do Vigor reflected on the situation and pointed out that the exgirlfriend had no plans. This Monday (23), the journalist stated that she earned around R$200,000 through her work at SBT.
The former A Fazenda 15 contestant went viral on social media explaining why she was unable to buy a house for her family. The journalist pointed to tax reductions and the attitude of prioritizing children’s education.
However, economist Gil do Vigor pointed out that Rachel Sheherazade’s salary would be enough to buy a property.
“I apologize for interfering with Rachel’s statement, and I know no one asked for my opinion, but I will express it anyway as I think it is important to highlight that Rachel’s income, even taking into account Discounts and taxes, really amounted to 200,000 per person per month (…) they would earn more than 99% of Brazilians, according to IBGE data which shows that a Brazilian who earns more than 28,000 is already among the 1% the highest salaries,” he emphasized.
“That’s why it seems that Rachel has neglected to seek financial advice and I say to everyone: it’s important to take care of your money because music is real, money in hand is a whirlwind,” he concluded.
In addition to Gil do Vigor, other Internet users also questioned Rachel’s statement.
