A passenger jet lost its balance at John F. Kennedy Airport, in the North American metropolis of New York, on Monday night. “At the gate, the tail of the aircraft tipped backwards due to a change in weight and balance during unloading, causing the nose of the aircraft to rise and then fall again,” airline Jetblue told US broadcaster CNN. There were no injuries in the incident.
In a video shared on social media, it is possible to see the plane’s nose pointing into the air and the plane’s front tires lost contact with the ground. A cargo door in the front half of the plane is open. The airline will now investigate the incident – as well as the plane – before taking off again. Flight operations at the airport were not affected by the incident. (ed.)
