RESULTS from Monday evening.
Finn Bálor and Damian Priest open the show with an in-ring promo to celebrate their victory at the WWE Undisputed Couples Championship last week. Priest notes that Rhea Ripley and Dominik aren’t dating because they’re dealing with family problems. Cody Rhodes interrupts them and tells them what it feels like to be interrupted. Rhodes wants to speak to the leader of The Judgment Day, but finds that she is not here, which doesn’t please Damian and Finn. Cody now turns to Priest and criticizes him for throwing a low blow against him and that this blow is far from the last blow. Pries replies that Cody’s story will be a story about failure. Rhodes threatens to attack Damian after challenging him to a match at Crown Jewel, and the two members of The Judgment Day laugh as they see Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio approach the ring to surround Cody. Jey Uso appears to attack Dominik and Rhodes starts hitting Damian and Finn. In the end, Rhodes had the situation under control, but JD McDonagh appeared to attack Rhodes’ leg. Damian and McDonagh end up beating up Cody and hitting him in the ankle with a chair, causing a possible injury.
New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) defeat Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis).
Becky Lynch retains the NXT Women’s Championship against Indy Hartwell.
The RAW GM asks Eddie Orengo (referee) to double today’s security for the signing of the Crown Jewel match for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Already in the ring, Adam Pearce introduces Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez and Zoey Stark to begin the contract signing ceremony. Raquel, Shayna, Stark and Jax sign up as contenders as they enter the ring, but Ripley isn’t here because she caused some chaos previously on WWE RAW. However, Ripley comes out and tells Adam Pearce that he can defeat them all one by one, but this is a conspiracy against them. Rhea says no one will take the title away from her regardless, whether the RAW GM likes it or not. Nia Jax laughs and realizes that Rhea Ripley is smart for being left out of the ring as she wants her to finish off the rest of the competitors so they can be alone with the two of them. Jax tells the others the same thing, but in the end Raquel gets fed up and a fierce battle begins between all competitors while Rhea Ripley watches everything from outside the ring, laughing. Security can’t do anything and it all ends with Nia standing in the middle of the ring after finishing off Raquel.
Johnny Gargano defeats Giovanni Vinci.
Logan Paul enters the ring to cut a promo talking about how Dillon Danis was fired from Bellator. Paul says if he defeats Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel and wins the United States Championship, he will give all his haters something to talk about. Dominik Mysterio interrupts and the fans boo both of them. Dom says he’s looking forward to seeing Logan beat his dad at Crown Jewel. Paul assures that Dominik is a champion of an entire continent, as he grew up in difficult circumstances with his father. Logan Paul says it’s been a long time since he’s seen Samantha Irvin, who he calls his favorite announcer. Paul asks him to get in the ring, and although Irvin rejects the suggestion, she ends up getting in the ring very seriously when Paul insists. Logan congratulates Samantha on her great job at SummerSlam despite beating her husband Ricochet and asks her to announce him as the new United States Champion now. Suddenly Ricochet appears and attacks Logan Paul and Dominik, but they flee.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven defeat Natalya and Nikki Cross.
Drew McIntyre defeats Sami Zayn after Rhea Ripley’s distraction.
Bronson Reed defeated Akira Tozawa.
Damian defeats Jey Uso, after the fight Bálor and Priest continue to attack Jey Uso until Cody Rhodes appears to limp to attack Damian and Finn with a chair. Finally, the two members of The Judgment Day manage to escape and the show ends.
